Flipped Classrooms

One of the two defining characteristics of the flipped classroom is the use of enabling technologies to move didactic instruction and individual learning activities out of the classroom. Interactive video can give students the ability to pause, rewind and review lectures; follow linked annotations; and do embedded quizzes.

The second defining characteristic is the use of classroom time for quality face-to-face interactions among students and between students and teacher, thus enhancing the learning experience for the students.

This site shows many videos from all subject areas that show interesting and informative things in nature and societies that could change the way kids think about themselves and the world they live in!
